To Mildred and all of Frank's family,
Your beautiful story of Frank's life in Harlingen brought back so many memories, mostly ones that my dad talked about. My parents were Dave and Doris O'Gorman and I am Sharon O'Gorman Kinnebrew. We lived in Harlingen since 1946. My dad and Frank were friends and I worked with Frank as a life guard and swim instructor at the Elks Lodge. I think we took the Water Safety Instructor course at the same time. I couldn't begin to tell you how much my dad thought of Frank, he was always mentioning him about something and I also remember dad going to visit him at the Valley Baptist Hospital when Frank was in there years ago. We were members of St. Anthony's Church, dad was a 4th degree Knight, Exalted Ruler, lifetime member Elks Lodge, and many of the same volunteer programs that Frank was in. I could go on and on, but one thing for sure was that Frank was one of the nicest people my dad knew and he was always talking about Frank and Wilma about something. We also knew Tom and Rachel, and I can still picture them, but I don't really remember much about them. What a great gift Frank was to people who knew him, and without a doubt he is in heaven, I hope meeting up with my dad and mom. My dad died in 2001 and mom in 2000, and they had lived close to my sister and I in the Dallas area for the last 5-6 years... even then, still mentioning Frank from time to time. I don't remember for sure, but wouldn't doubt if they kept in touch back in the late 90s. I hope so. Your father was the nicest gentlemen! Blessings to you and your family.

Mildred, Please accept my condolences on the passing of your father. He was, to be sure, a man who gave, and that is the best kind there is. May God bless you.
