Frank Scarborough Obituary

SCARBOROUGH, Frank Frank Scarborough, a retired Medical University of South Carolina public safety employee, died Saturday afternoon, August 16, 2006, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Frank was born September 3, 1934, a son of William and Margurite Scarborough. He attended Bishop England High School and served 12 years in the United States Air Force. Frank was preceded in death by a son, Frank Eric Scarborough. Surviving are his daughter, Tammie Leigh of Westville, Illinois and three grandchildren, Justin, Michael, and Kaitlin; sisters, Margaret S. Hatcher of Charleston, SC, Eileen Kennedy of Kansas City, MO, Theresa Pop of James Island, SC and brothers, Joseph Scarborough of Louisville, KY, Michael Scarborough of Charleston, SC and Thomas Scarborough of Hanahan, SC, and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Veterans Administration Medical Center and Sandpiper Nursing facility for the care given to Frank. A private memorial service will be announced at a future date.
