Frank Roach Obituary

ROACH – Frank Michael, 61, Seattle, Wash., formerly of Patton, died Oct. 28, 2008, in Bellevue, Wash. He was born Sept. 3, 1947, in Phoenix, Ariz., son of Edward Michael and Frances (Kinkead) Roach. He was preceded in death by parents. He is survived by wife of 28 joyful years, Sunny Carlo-Jo Roach; his children, Jeffrey Michael Roach, Northern Cambria; Beth Ann (Joseph) Hautz, Hagerstown, Md.; and Jennifer Rebecca and Bradley Samuel Roach, both of Seattle, Wash.; and his grandchildren, Alexis Sobecky, Johnstown; Tori and Sydney Roach, both of Northern Cambria; Frances, Logan and Jordan Hautz, all of Hagerstown; and twin girls, Mikayla Maureen and Briana Kathleen Roach, Seattle. He also is survived by sister, Jacqueline (Troy) Rivers, and niece, Carmella Angelica Rivers, both of Indianapolis. Frank graduated from Cambria Heights High School in 1965. He retired from the U.S. Army as Sergeant First Class (SFC). He did two tours in Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart and multiple Vietnam and Army service awards. Frank was a devoted high school basketball referee and baseball umpire in King and Snohomish counties. Interment will be 1 p.m. Dec. 2 at Arlington National Cemetery.
