Frank Renau Obituary

Frank Richard Renau MT. Pleasant - Frank Richard Renau, 93, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Doris Mincey Renau died Tuesday, August 11, 2015. His Memorial Service will be held, Saturday, August 14, 2015 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL AT 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 10:00 am until time of the service. Frank was born October 31, 1921 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late John Henry Renau and the late Georgia Keen Renau. He was a World War II veteran. He was a Masonic Lodge member, loved spending time with his grandchildren and loved talking to people. His career path took him in many directions which demonstrated his entrepreneurial spirit, concluding as a Licensed Realtor and Land Developer. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Doris M. Renau of Mt. Pleasant, SC; daughter Rosemary Renau Koger and her husband, Maj. Gen. Herbert Koger, Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, SC; step-daughter, Sharon L. Jones and her husband, Chuck, of North Charleston, SC; two step-sons, Robert Lebby III of Knoxville, TN and Stephen Wayne Lebby and his wife, Annette, of Richmond, VA; two sisters, Mary Renau of Charleston, SC and Hazel Lucas of James Island, SC; nine grandchildren, Herbert Koger, III and his wife, Dawn Marie, of Aiken, SC, Melissa Koger Watson and her husband, Philip Jackson Watson, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Nick Lebby and his wife, Lindsey, of NC, Jason Jones and his wife, Jessica, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Allison Lebby, Andrea Lebby and Jenni Jones all of North Charleston, SC, Brian Lebby and his wife, Angela of TX and Kevin Lebby of Knoxville, TN; five great grandchildren, Herbert Koger, IV, Emily Marie Koger, Jackson Watson, Lily Jones and Emily Jones and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her four brothers, John, Joe, George and Harry. The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at MUSC Ashley River Tower, Fifth Floor for their excellent care.
