Frank Heape Obituary

HEAPE, Frank Mr. Frank O'Neal Heape, formerly of Varnville, SC, died October 5, 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah after a long illness. Born February 4, 1954 in Corpis Christi, Texas, he was the son of Charlie O'Neal Heape and Dolores A. Heape of Varnville, SC. A long-time resident of Evanston, Wyoming, Frank passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with the complications of diabetes. A true southern gentleman, his easy charm, contagious good humor and impeccable manners never failed to impress those he met. A welder by trade, he owned and operated Roaring Forks Welding. His favorite times were being with family and friends, feeling the wind in his face as he roared down the road on his Harley, or riding on a good horse over the mountain in search of big game. Surviving besides his parents of Varnville, SC is one daughter, Lessie Ann Heape and step-son, Cody Baysinger, both of Rifle, Colorado; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Cecil Freeman of Early Branch, SC, and long-time companion, Diana Sharpe of Evanston, Wyoming. Services will be held Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home in Hampton, conducted by Rev. Jack Bailey. Burial will follow in the Peeples Cemetery near Early Branch, SC. PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME, 300 Mulberry St., Hampton, SC 29924 is in charge of arrangements.
