Frank Haines Obituary

Frank Norman Haines GOOSE CREEK - Frank Norman Haines, 39, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away suddenly on Friday, February 5, 2021 at his home. He is the son of Patricia Kearney Haines and the late Roger Neill Haines. He was a graduate of Goose Creek High School in 2000. Frank was a mechanic for Ports America and worked most of his life at the Port of Charleston. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family whom he loved endlessly. Frank liked listening to music, working on cars, and cooking up a good steak on the grill. He was known to share some spectacular pictures of sunsets and sunrises from his outdoor office at the port. Frank brought a spark to the room with his funny stories and sense of humor. He was as close to his sister, Brook, and brother-in-law, Eric, as any siblings can be. And he was devoted to his niece, Ava. Their banter would bring a smile to anyone. His entire family is broken-hearted. Frank will be sorely missed by his mother, Patricia Kearney Haines and her fiance;, Seth T. White, III of Hanahan, SC; his sister, Brook Haines Pilacky and her husband, Eric of Summerville, SC; his niece, Ava DeeAnn Pilacky; uncle, Stan Haines and family of Goose Creek, SC; aunts, Lori Evans and family of Goose Creek, SC and Peggy Martin and family of Warminster, PA, his many cousins and their families. Frank is now with his predeceased father, Roger Neill Haines; uncle, Michael Raymond Haines; and grandparents, Gary Norman and Jane Haines. Frank was truly one of a kind and he will be missed by his extended family, which include his many friends in other states, co-workers and all those who crossed his path each day. He had many people in his life that he loved and they loved him right back. A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, February 12, 2021 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Simplicity-Ladson Chapel, 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC. 843-996-4426. COVID Protocol will be followed.
