I had hoped to be at at Frankie's service but have been sick. His Daddy was my godfather and one of my Daddy's best friends from childhood. We spent a lot of time at each other's homes as children. I hadn't seen Frankie in years but we ran into each other during my time as a therapist at the Mental Health Center. He was serving one of the folks I saw. It was wonderful to see him. He was such a kind, warm and funny man. He brought that kindness and joy to many of the people he helped. He made a difference in their lives. I was blessed to see that. (Cathy Dodds Joyner)

Frank and I shared the same birthday--day and year! He was always a gentle soul, and all who knew him are diminished by his passing...

I am so sad to hear of the passing of my good friend , Frank. He and I became friends in high school and then during the years at college of charleston we rode to classes together many times. In the last decade we have been able to spend a lot of time together as he served on the high school reunion committee as I did. Our reunion committee became quite a social group and Frank and Beth were always there. Frank was always such a gentleman. His kindness to everyone stood out. I will miss my friend and I send my love and prayers to his love, Beth.

This was very sad news hearing about Frank's passing. I was fortunate enough to know Frank since Kindergarten at Blessed sacrament School. He was one of the nicest guys one could ever encounter. Just now, I was looking back at our 7th grade Confirmation picture at Blessed Sacrament and there in the front row next to Fr. McCarthy was yours truly and to my right stood Frank. You will be missed by may old friend, RIP! Rev. Mark J. Smith

I knew Frankie from The College of Charleston. We became good friends then but parted ways after graduation. I used to run into him in town all the time and it was nice to catch up. He was such a great guy and had such a wonderful sense of humor. He will truly be missed.
