Francis Flood Obituary

Francis E. Flood ISLE OF PALMS, SC - Francis E. Flood, 85, of Isle of Palms, SC died Friday, November 26, 2010, at Summit Place, Daniel Island, SC. Frank was the son of Patrick and Thelma Flood (Holseberg). He was born in New York City on April 21, 1925. He graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He was a WW II US Navy veteran having seen service in the Pacific Theater. He was a chemical engineer and executive for Benjamin Moore, Stanley Tool and StanChem, Inc. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Grace Rita Flood, his son Kevin Flood of San Francisco, CA, daughter Karen Flood of Boca Raton, FL and Wilton, CT, and granddaughter Taylor Ann Flood of New Boston, NH, and his brother John E. Flood and wife Carol of Wilmington, DE, and his sister Mary Lou Flood of Wilmington, DE. The services will be held at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at McALISTER-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, MT. PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1520 RIFLE RANGE ROAD, MT. PLEASANT, SC. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Avenue, Suite 101, North Charleston, SC 29405.
