Dear Legare and family,
All Fort Sumter Camp is saddened by the passing of our oldest brother. Your Dad never failed to add something to each of our meetings and his wise counsel and pleasant smile will be a great loss.
Sincerely, and,

Susan and Legare,
I was sorry to hear about Frank. I have many good memories of your father while growing up downtown. He was a compassionate, calm and kind man. I know he will be missed by all who knew him. So many memories for all of us to remember about him. May this sorrow be short lived for both of you and your families and all good memories remain with you always.

Frank was a true Southern gentleman. We always had a great conversation whenever we met, be it at Rockville for the Races, Bohicket Marina, or at BG. I am sure he is now telling great stories in the hereafter with Suzanne and mom and dad. I miss them all, great people from the greatest generation.

For the past few years I've spent most Fridays playing cards with a friend at Bishop Gadsden. Without fail, Frank would drop by the table for a chat. A small gesture, but one I will miss greatly. I'm happy to have known him.

Your dad was one of my favorite people in this world! I have so many fun memories of laughing, hats and flavored water!! Your dad was a one of a kind human being that graced this earth with his gentlemanly charm and wit! I know you will always have your memories to keep in your heart. As with time our broken hearts will heal. Frank will always be in my heart too...Love to you and Joe, Joe III , Ellie and Lebby....:-)
