Frances Carroll White CHARLESTON - Frances Carolyn Carroll White, 94, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of the late James "Jim" Larsen White, entered into eternal rest Saturday, December 28, 2024. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2025 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel. Frances was born June 4, 1930 in Gilbert, South Carolina, daughter of the late Edward T. Carroll and the late Marie Crosland Carroll. She grew up in Holly Hill, SC and graduated from Holly Hill High School. In 1951, she married Jim, and together raised two daughters in Charleston. They were married for 56 years. Frances was a longtime member of Ashley River Baptist Church. She is survived by daughters, Carol W. Fougerousse and Brenda L. White; grandchildren, Jennifer Fougerousse of Charleston, SC, Jessica Fleming (Lee) of Charleston, SC, and Joseph L. Fougerousse (Malori) of Summerville, SC; great-grandchildren, Olivia, Nicholas, Halston, Sydney, Larsen, and Myers; and brother JC Carroll of Holly Hill, SC. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Raymond J. Fougerousse; brothers, Asher Carroll and William Carroll.
