What a truly wonderful lady. My Momma and Jerry were best friends and shared so many great memories. Through their friendship, I became friends with Jerry. She was such a comfort to me when Momma passed away. My heart is sad for you, but know that one day you will be together again forever and let that comfort you and bring you joy in your sadness. My heartfelt sympathy to the family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Oh Paula and Rick I don't know where to start to tell you how much your mom meant to me. Today in church the pastor spoke of what a wonderful christian women she was. Flowers were put in the church by our Sunday School class. Everyone she met thought so highly of her. She was and will always be a treasured friend. Thank you both for sharing her with so many.

Paula, I'm so very sorry about your Mother passing. I'm sorry I didn't get to know her, but if she was anything like you, I know she was beautiful inside and out. May the good Lord give you and your family rich blessings and comforting peace. Love, Janet

I did not know Mrs. Cone that well but I admired her very much. She was our neighbor up the street and always greeted us neighbors with a warm smile. She was very special. I am glad to have known her.

Dear Mrs. Cone, How you touched our lives! We lived up the street from Cone's Grocery on Rutledge and you regularly exchanged encouraging words and kindnesses with my family. You and Mr. Cone were the examples of neighborliness. You extended credit when I forgot my checkbook or cash; you interacted with my sons in a nurturing manner; you were a true encourager of people. The world is so much better for your having been in it.
