Felder Hutchinson Obituary

I always have fond memories of Felder and my time at St. Marks. My love to the family.

Joan and I served with Felder in many Kairos weekends. He was our friend and a role model for those who would take Christ to the lost.

Mrs. Hutchinson and family,
I was sorry to her of Felder's passing. he was one of the first people I got to know when I moved to Charleston 30 years ago and substituted for Mrs. Rumpel at St. Mark's. We will miss him...."the Bishop of Thomas Street" as we used to kid him.

It is with great sadness that I heard of Felder's passing. I much enjoyed our conversations during the years. His knowledge of "our" history in Charleston will be greatly missed. My prayers go out to You and Robert

I was sorry to hear of Felder's passing. My husband, Bill, and I knew him through serving with the Kairos ministry. I thank God for placing him in our lives. He was a blessing to us and to all who knew him. You are in my prayers.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Felder's demise. Sincere sympathy and prayers to you all. Felder was my friend and I too will miss him. God bless you all.

Dear Gladys;
Jean and I were truly saddened when we read about Felder..We first met Felder while having dinner at S&S..That evening he brought a lot of laughter and joy to our hearts..

He was a great man to talk with and I enjoyed our talks immensely. He was a very good friend and he will be sadly missed by the two of us..

Our deepest sympathy to you and your family, and both you and Felder are in our hearts and in our prayers..Bless You..

Felder was such a joy to be around to hear his crazy jokes and stories of "Charleston". Also, I truly appreciated his support and concerns as we were taking care of his friends, my Momma and Daddy. We will miss Felder deeply. Turner loved serving on the alter with him and has such fond memories of his time at St. Marks. Harold and I loved talking with Felder at the annual oyster roast in the parking lot of St. Marks Church. He was such a good man and we were blessed to have known him.

Please accept my condolences on the death of Felder. I knew him when Mrs. Elizabeth Rumpel was the organist for St. Marks Church. He was a fine example of a true Christian and I feel honored to have known him.
