Faye Catherine Langley Charleston - Faye Catherine Langley, 58, of Charleston, South Carolina, died Monday, March 11, 2019. Her memorial service will be held Saturday, March 16, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 4:00 pm. Interment will follow in Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens, 1308 Mathis Ferry Road. Faye was born September 11, 1960 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Carl Freeman Langley and the late Fassitt (Mickey) Hearne Langley. Faye attended Wando High School and Trident Academy going on to Trident Technical College. She enjoyed gardening, especially her roses in her retirement. One of her greatest joys was spending time watching television and relaxing with her beloved cat, Grace. She is survived by three sisters, Gaye Langley Jones (Ron) of Charleston, SC, Deryl Patrice Langley of Meggett, SC and Carleen Langley Smith (Woodie) of Mt. Pleasant, SC and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels East Cooper, P.O. Box 583, Mt. I knew Faye all of our lives, Hobcaw lives. She and her twin sister, Gaye, came to my birthday parties from the time I turned 3, and maybe before. Every time that I saw Faye, she was so kind. I pray that the peace she has found in Heaven, with God, her parents and many friends, is profound! I miss you and I love you, Faye!! :)

I remember Faye from Sunday school, we were both along with her sister Gaye members of Hibben United Methodist Church in Mt. Pleasant. The three of us were very young at the time and we would talk and eat Ritz crackers, a lot! We were good friends then and I know she is with Jesus. Rest well Faye.

What a lovely picture of Faye! I was trying to think of the first memory I had of y'all. It was my 3rd or 4th birthday party and y'all came. To this day, I cannot tell you who else was there, but I remember blatantly that y'all gave me a patent leather red, round overnight suitcase! I loved that thing beyond words!!! Long and short of it, we go waaaaaay back to preschool years. I love you girls. I have not had much contact with Faye in my adult years, but I remember her as a very kind, good friend. That is the Faye I will always remember! Everyone who enters your life is a wonderful lesson. You learn from others and I learned a lot from Faye! I pray that she will be up in the heavens with too many people who have gone too soon, but she can now tell her momma, I am happy!
