Everette Haley Obituary

Everette Marvin Haley MANNING, SC - Everette Marvin Haley, 80, husband of Elizabeth Anne Hanna Haley, died Sunday, June 19, 2016, at his home. Born May 15, 1936, in Manning, he was a son of the late Edgar William Haley and the late Lizzie Vermell Holladay Haley. He was the owner and operator of Haley Farms and he attended Manning United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of Manning; two daughters, Sonia Haley of Manning and Teresa Haley Harper (Jeff) of Charleston; two grandchildren, Tyler Evan Harper and Hanna Reece Harper; two sisters, Mercelene Haley Scott (Jim) of Sumter and Sharron Haley of Manning; and his best friends and longtime employees, Edwigis "Johnny" Cleto and Bobbi Jo Elmore. He was preceded in death by a sister, Deloris Haley Jenkinson; and a brother, Pressley Benjamin Haley. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home, with the Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Clarendon Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Arthur Dean Ridgeway, Carl Jenkinson, Johnny Hanna, Kevin Ross, Billy Welch and J.J. Welch. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Flowers, Bubba Flowers, Kermit Holladay, Bobby Richburg, Matt Hanna, William Brewer, Levi Richburg, William Prothro, Lannes Prothro and Davis Welch. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at Stephens Funeral Home and at other times at the residence. Memorials may be made to Manning United Methodist Church, P.O.
