I was reading an old proverb the other day and it just seemed to fit.
"Look to this day. In it lie all the realities and verities of existence, the bliss of growth, the splendor of action, the glory of power. For yesterday is but a dream and tomorrow is only a vision. But today, well-lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope. Eve always lived her life to the fullest embracing the happiness it had to offer. Let us remember this. I wish I could have been there.
Much love to you all.

It has been 1 year, since God took you away.
And we held your hand, as you slipped away.
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to me".
You didn't deserve what you went through,
So He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.

Together, forever.

Mom Eve, You opened your home, arms and heart to Mikayla and me. I love you and miss you so much. Your smile and laughter brightned my day, I will miss our talks and words of wisdom. Thank you for letting me part of your wonderful family. Aunt Betty Thank you for taking such good care of mom. Liz is right, sisterly love is the strongest and deepest next to motherly love. To Grandma, I'm sorry, and love you all very much.

It was my wonderful pleasure to have been welcomed into the family nearly a year ago by Eve when I was able to spend Christmas with the Peagler siblings. Eve certainly had great joy about her, loving and living life to the fullest capacity that she could extract from every second. Her open heart and loving spirit was not diminished even as she took her last breath here on Earth. God bless her memory to our own hearts we are better for having known and shared even a few moments with Eve.

Grandma ~ I don't even know what to say because we missed so many years together. I wish that we could have that time back and could of have you in my life. I wish I could of been there for you and I know now that I was still in your thoughts. Hopefully we will get to see each other again, but I know your watching over me.

I do miss the love that my sister always had for me. She is now at peace and in the most precious of places.
I will certainly miss being able to rub my mustache on her lips, I know she really liked it, but would never say so.
The ring that you gave me will always be worn next to my heart.
With thoughts of you for ever,
Your little brother.

To my wonderful family,
Aunt Evelyn will certainly be missed, greatly. She is in Peace now with God, and other loved ones in our family whom have passed. We all stayed by Aunt Evelyn's side, hoping and praying, holding her hand, telling her we loved her.....However, I want to make mention of a "Special Appreciation", to her Sister/My Mother, Betty Jenkins, for taking every moment of her time with Aunt Evelyn through the entire time she was ill, caring for her, until her passing, from us, into God's hands.
That is Sisterly Love, and we are thankful to have the giving love that my Mother/Aunt Evelyn's Sister, shared in taking such good care of her, through the end.
Love Always,
Liz
