Evelyn Robinson-Nickens MT. VERNON, NY - Funeral services for Evangelist Evelyn H. Robinson-Nickens, 73, of Mt. Vernon, NY, will be Saturday, August 10, 2013, at 11:00 a.m., in Olive Branch A.M.E. Church. Burial in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Rev. Dr. Harry L. Wilson will officiate. Mrs. Robinson-Nickens was born June 30, 1940, the daughter of Willie Robinson and Sadie Thompson. Survivors include her devoted children, Alicia Nickens, Saundra Nickens (Gregory Williams) and Anthony Nickens; three grandchildren, Sheriff Nickens, Shana Perez, and Joshua Nickens; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Oscar Thompson and Leon Robinson; and a cousin, Lavinia Scroggins.
