Grandma, I feel blessed having known you and I'm not surprised that so many people have such wonderful things to say about you, because you touched people just by being you. Just by laughing and having a good time; you gave off a gladness that was infectious. Or just by being quiet and still; you inspired wisdom and humility. I have two very specific memories, one from each of those sides of you and they are engrained in my mind and heart. The bible talks about what it means to be a woman of virtue. I pray to be that woman someday, but I'm not there yet. It is no easy thing to be. But you mastered it with such grace and I'm thankful to know a woman of such great virtue. You lived such an awesome life and I'm honored to have come from it. I love you and I'm so glad you're home in peace.

Grandma, I could never be more grateful or feel more blessed to have known such an amazing woman. It will be so hard going home and not seeing your smiling face, hearing your hearty laugh, or getting the best hug in the world from you. But I am glad you are resting in peace. Thank you for everything you've taught us. I love you!

Mom...You were the strength of our family, the support beams of YOUR family! Thanks for building a strong foundation. Your roots dig deep into our structure. We will never forget our lessons and we will always love you for your LOVE, your wisdom, your inspirations, all that encompasses you...our teacher, our mentor, our spiritual advisor, our friend and our dear loving mother, that's you! Your roots are stronger mom, for we must carry on as well as pass along the deeply rooted parts of you, your spiritual lessons, your strength and your love. I thank God for you dear mom, now take your place with the Lord and be forever joyous until we meet again.

Momma,
"The tears in my eyes I can wipe away,
But the ache in my heart will always stay.
I sit and wonder every day,
Why the Lord chose to call you away,
I think He saw you needed rest,
He only takes the very best."
Momma, I love you so very much and I always will!! You may be gone from this earth but you will always be in my heart and I know that we will meet again one day, Oh what a happy day that will be!! You are and will always be my Favorite Girl!!!! I will never forget the joy and love you poured into my live and the lives of the so many people you've blessed with your life. I am blessed and honored to call you my Momma! I love now and forever! I'll miss you!

QueenBee...my darling mother, you were a beautiful soul inside and out. Your love for the Lord and for life radiated for all to see. The Christ within you spoke for itself...a sterling example of His love. You created many memories for us to cherish and those memories will warm my heart on those days that I'll be missing you really bad. I'm smiling now because I know that there's praise, worship, Glorifying God, singing Hallelujah to the most High God all day long and you, my dear, are amongst the angels rejoicing with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing it will be...when we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the Victory...Hallelujah!!!! Sing, mom, and rejoice, for the cares of this world is no more and we...we must keep our eyes on the prize so that we will join you in sitting at the feet of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I love you mom...you were the best mom in the whole wide world...remember that?

Mom, our Queen Bee, Auntie Evelyn, Luna, Lena, Cousin Evelyn, My Batch of Roses, My friend, your friend but The child of God. We close this circle in this guest book with nothing but love, love like you shared, love like you gave. The peace, the joy, the LAUGHTER; oh we shared! Mom, we close this page, this generation but not our hearts. We will always remember you. May the life we live be as fruitful, as pleasing to God, as touching, as memorible as the Daisy that God plucked on May 1, 2011. The pineland, your church, your family, friends and every life that you touched in any way will sadly but surely miss you. Matthews 6:20-21 says But store up for yourself treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy and where theives do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Mom you found your treasure. We must prepare ourselves for the same. You are gone but will not be FORGOTTEN. With love your mini you.

The End of an Era...............
Evelyn Brown Magwood, the last offspring of Abram & Evelina Tolbert Brown.
Aunt Evelyn, you are the last of a generation. A generation of Love, Joy and Peace. Today is the first time I have cried since you left. Somehow the tears makes it final and I wanted to hold on to you for as long as I could. Saying good-bye is hard but I know that it is only temporary. I am grateful for all of the time you shared with us. The things that you taught us and the love you shared will be with us forever. You made loving you so easy. Your quiet spirit, your hardy laugh and love of life will be with us all for years to come. I pray that the things you taught and shared will be passed down thru many generations. You will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Your troubles here on earth cannot compare to the joy that you must be enjoying now!!!

I love you Auntie, you were the best auntie/godmother I could ever hope for.

Loving you always, your goddaughter, Nita

Mama, my QueenBee, how I miss you so. You were a Godsend and I thank Him for giving you to us and us to you. You will forever be in my heart. Mama, I will try real hard to reflect on the joy of your beautiful life and legacy and less on the fact that you are not physically here with us. Today, during this Memorial Day weekend where I'd be home with you...I'm having a moment missing you really bad but I know the days will get better. My crying moments in days to come will be fewer but my love for you will forever be strong. I love you, mama, I love you my QueenBee.......until we meet again and we WILL meet again, please look after us; I know you will because we were your pride and joy for you gave all of you...just for us.

With love for you forever and a day or until eternity.....your beloved daughter, Sandra.

Mom, It's so hard to believe you're not physically here with us. We love you so much and will always carry the lesson and the love that you've taught us to share with one another, friends, family and all of God's children. At your homegoing, Sandra did an awesome reflection about your life, your teachings, your interactions and your joy. She made it vividly possible for everyone to "remember Mom-remember you", your legacy of love! You've been a wonderful mother and now God has taken you home to rest and to be at peace. Sleep my beautiful mother...one day, we'll meet again.

Loving you always...your beloved daughter,
