Evelyn Huggins Obituary

Evelyn Huggins Eutawville, SC - Evelyn Huggins entered into eternal rest Sunday February 4, 2018, at home. Evelyn was born in Horry County, South Carolina on November 22, 1926, to the late Tillman and Julia Edwards. She loved to garden, quilt, and can. She also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She leaves behind Billy Huggins, Carolyn Doyle, Wendell Huggins, Glenn Huggins (Karen), and Jackie Canaday (Rodney), eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Jack Huggins; her brothers, Harry Edwards, Clarence Edwards, Hilton Edwards, and Lavern Edwards; her sisters, Ruth Collins and Marie Hardwick; and her grandsons, Joshua Canaday and Paul Doyle. Services will be held on Wednesday February 7, 2018, at Carolina Memorial Funerals and Cremations, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. Visitation will be from 1 PM to 2 PM followed by the Funeral Service at 2 PM. Internment at Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the service. We're all so sorry for your loss and our Prayers and thoughts are with you. I'll always remember Aunt Mutt with that smile on her face and her low loving voice. She was such a strong Lady who never gave up and over came many hurdles in her life because she loved God, her family ,friends and life so very much. She surely knew how loved she was by her family because of the loving care you all provided for her. Aunt Mutt was a truly Amazing Lady and will be Greatly missed by all who ever knew her through out her life.
