Evelyn Graham Obituary

GRAHAM, Evelyn CONWAY, SC - Evelyn T. Graham, age 76, wife of the late Furman Jenkins Graham, Sr., died Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Conway Manor after an illness. Born May 26, 1930 in Conway, SC, she was the daughter of the late William Huey and Mattie Pauline Cannon Thompkins. Mrs. Graham was a graduate of Aynor High School and later graduated from the Florence Technical School. She was formerly employed by Conway National Bank and later retired from Pee Dee Farm Credit as a title searcher. Mrs. Graham was a member of Jamestown Baptist Church in Conway. She was predeceased by a sister, Bobbie Thompkins Stalvey. Survivors include her son, Furman Jenkins Graham, Jr. and wife Janet Suggs Graham of Conway; one granddaughter, Angela D. Graham of Conway; a brother, James M. Thompkins and his wife Dean Johnston Thompkins of Conway and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 3:30 PM Friday, June 2, 2006 from Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel with the Rev. Mack Hutson officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
