Evelyn Dobson Obituary

DOBSON, Evelyn Mrs. Evelyn Ayer Dobson, 79, of Brunson, SC, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 in the Hampton Regional Medical Center. Born November 9, 1928 in Bamberg County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Lee Edward Ayer and Pearline Williams Ayer. She was a homemaker and a member of Luray Christian Church in Luray but was also a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by one son, Talmadge F. Dobson, Jr. of Brunson; two granddaughters, Katie Michelle Dobson of Allendale and Melissa Renee Dobson Greene of Williston and one sister, Annie Lea Ayer Crosby of North Charleston, SC. There is one great granddaughter, Sharise Lenora Greene of Williston. She was predeceased by her husband, Talmadge Ferguson Dobson, Sr. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 2 PM in the chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME IN HAMPTON. Burial will follow in the Browning Cemetery.
