Eva Jarrell Obituary

JARRELL, Eva VARNVILLE, SC - Mrs. Eva Hughey Jarrell of Varnville died Saturday evening, November 24th, 2007 at her home in Varnville after a brief illness. Born September 1, 1928 in Hampton County, she was the daughter of the late Jim Hughey and Lillian DeLoach Hughey. She was a homemaker, attended Hopewell Baptist Church and was also very active and helpful in her community giving assistance to anyone in need. She was the widow of Lee Ellis Jarrell, Sr. She is survived by her son, Lee Ellis Jarrell, Jr. and wife Ann of Easley, her daughter, Patricia Cissy Jarrell of Varnville, and two sisters, Maude H. McMillan of Brunson and Viola Benton of Ehrhardt. There are 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son Jim H. Jarrell and grandson Chad Jarrell. Funeral services will be held graveside Wednesday at 2PM at Live Oak Cemetery near the Nixville community, directed by PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME OF HAMPTON.
