Eula Blango Obituary

Eula Mae Edwards Blango CHARLESTON - Eula Mae Edwards Blango, 79, teacher, formerly of Pittsburgh, Pa., passed away Wed, March 14, 2018 in Charleston, SC. She was born in Charleston to Georgiana and Abraham Edwards. She was educated at Avery High School, Burke High School (Class of 1956) and Claflin University (Class of 1960). During her early years she taught at St. John's High, Haute Gap High School and an Elementary School in Eutawville, SC before acquiring a teaching position w/the Pittsburgh Public School System from which she retired. She is survived by her son, Adam Blango (Pittsburgh); she is preceded in death by Charles Blango, Sr. (spouse), Damien Blango (son), Bernard Edwards (brother), Janie Edwards, (paternal grandmother). She is survived by her mother, Georgiana (Edwards) Bennett; sisters, Patricia Talley (Raymond), Sorona Jenkins; brothers, Ronald Edwards, Jerome Bennett (Ella). A Memorial Service will be held on April 7th at 1:00 p.m at Olive Branch Baptist Church, Hwy 61/Ashley River Rd, Charleston, SC. Visit our guestbook at www.legacy.com/obituaries/ charleston
