Dear Margaret,
Im sorry I could not come to Grandpa Gene's - My mom said I could go but she said this to me. Always remember the man laughing and with a smile on his face-never a unkind word to anyone or anything.
He loved his wife and family with his heart,he loved others with his smile. I will miss him, because I thought of him as my GRANDFATHER and I love him so much and you and everyone else. Love and see you soon

Gene and Marge are our daughter, and son-in-laws friends through their son Rich. They are very close, and we always appreciated hearing how good they are to our granddaughter, Cayla, who lives in Davenport. Our daughter always told us how good they were to her, which meant alot to us since we live in Arizona. He will be missed by many we are sure. Our sympathy to all the family.

With deepest sympathy for your loss. Could always tell when it was going to be a good day when Gene and the ElCamino were out together. Always a big smile when he came thru the drive-up at Valley Bank especially when a grandchild was along.
