Eugene Francis Rose SUMMERVILLE - Eugene Francis Rose, 67, of Summerville, husband of Linda Burks Rose, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at Hallmark Health Care, Summerville. Friends and family may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock PM. Funeral Services and burial will be private. Flowers will be accepted. Eugene was born on June 12, 1944 in Corning, NY, son of the late Ernest Van Rose, Sr. and Dorothy Thomas Rose. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and loved his pets. He was a truck driver for 30 years. Surviving in addition to his wife Linda are: Three Sons: Eugene F. Rose, Jr. and Timothy Rose, both of New York and Randall Thompson (Kathy Christiensen) of Summerville; Two Daughters: Eugena Wilson (Myke) of Summerville and Betsy Irvin (Bryan) of Charleston; Six Grandchildren: Melinda S. Thompson, Chrissy L. Thompson, Carmen N. Rose, Rodney J. Grover, Timothy Lattimer and Amanda Wilson; Two Brothers: John Rose and Clayton Rose. He is predeceased in death by One Sister: Doris Rose and Three Brothers: Ernest Rose, Jr., Robert Rose and Charlie Rose.
