Eugene William Myers N. Charleston - Eugene William Myers, of North Charleston, SC, was born on July 18, 1924 in Summerville, SC. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Dorris Mae Myers. He was born the son of Henry Rudolph Myers and Latisha Myers; Entered into eternal rest on 10 February, 2022 at the age of 97. Surviving are his three sons; Thomas Eugene Myers and wife, Charlotte Lynn Myers of North Charleston, SC, Ronald William Myers and wife, Diane Elizabeth Myers of North Charleston, SC, Donald Henry Myers of Charleston, SC, five grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Myers is a retired postal worker and a World War II Veteran. He touched many lives over the years as a volunteer with the Cooper River Parks and Playground. He also was a lifetime member of the Masonic Lodge (369), a member of the American Legion (179) and a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. The Family will receive family and friends from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM on 15 February, 2022 at J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC. 29406. Immediately afterwards a graveside burial will be held at Carolina Memorial Cemetery, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406 at 2:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Cokesbury UMC Building Fund, 4990 Dorchester Road, North Charleston, SC 29418.
