We shall always cherish such fond memories of Mr.Goode. He was our friend as well as "friendly banker". He took care of our banking interest since two young college students (Butch and Rocky) began to sell furniture on Rivers Ave. He was a great contribution to the over thirty years of success we have enjoyed in business here. We (Anne and Paul) feel eternal gratitude to Gene for his interest and help to our sons in their business endeavor in N. Charleston over the years. We shall miss him and extend our sympathy and prayers to Mrs. Goode and other family members.

My condolence to the Goode Family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Hilda
and Gene through MUSC when they both
participated in our Arts and Crafts
Show. We will surely miss Gene. He
was a wonderful christian man.

My condolence to the family of Mr. Goode. I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Goode at BB&T for many years and found him to be a christian and a person of great character. He never miss an opportunity to encourage and help you in any way that he could.

Gene, was a wonderful man and he will be missed by many, we were blessed to know him.
He was a true southern Gentleman, and this world will be a little less bright with him gone.
Hilda, words cannot express or bring the comfort you need at this time, but we pray your faith will sustain you, and just as the walls are 'round about Jerusalem,we pray God's arms are around you and yours, to bring you comfort and peace at this sad time.

The world will be a little different without Gene in it now. He always had a smile for you no matter what. I had lots of good memories of him during the years we worked together for Harry Morse. My deepest sympathies to the family. He will be greatly missed.
