To The Evans Family Stay Strong In The Lord:

'Until We Meet Mark Again'
Each morning when the family awake
we know that you are gone.
And no one knows the heartache
As we try to carry on.

Our hearts still ache with sadness
and many tears still flow.
What it meant to lose Mark,
No one will ever know.

Our thoughts are always with Mark,
your place no one can fill.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.

There will always be a heartache,
and often a silent tear,
But always a precious memory
Of the days when you were here.

If tears could make a staircase,
And heartaches make a lane,
We'd walk the path to heaven
And bring you home again.

We hold you close within our hearts,
And there you will remain,
To walk with us throughout our lives
Until we meet again.

Our family chain is broken now,
And nothing will be the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

To my extended family, Agnes, Gene, Karen, Nedee, Trina, and Ann. As I look into the nightly skies of Afghanistan, the wells of my eyes fill with sorrow. I have lost a big part of my life. My heart goes out to everyone in the family. Mark was my brother as you well know and we shared good times and bad times together since we were young. We lived as one. I can't begin to express the lost I feel as I know we all feel. I will forever carry my brother in my heart and hold onto all the memories we shared through the years. I will grieve our lost and celebrate his life. May God watch over us all in this time of need.

My heart is hurting for the loss of my cousin Mark! He was loved by everyone. He taught my son Jamal how to play basketball. Jamal just talked to Mark Monday to let him know he was trying out for the basketball team at Valdosta State University. My daughter Re'Gena loved him too because when we come home from Georgia Mark is always around and he plays with all his younger cousins. Mark has always been a part of our family and no matter what family function we are having and no matter where it is being held Mark will be there. The Holidays will not be the same without him this year. Mark you will be greatly missed. When you get to heaven my brother Cedrick your cousin and running buddy will be there waiting on you. Evans family please know that you will be in our hearts and our prayers May God Bless you in your time of sorrow!
Love Always Your Cousins,
