Sorry to hear 0f Gene´s passing. He and Charlotte were a wonderful couple that I´ll never forget.

I just heard of the passing of your dad. I am so sorry for your loss. I have so many fond memories growing up with you and your family. Your dad was always there working and making a beautiful place for his family. I think I spent most of my childhood at your house. Please accept my deepest condolences.

MY DAY WAS COMPLETE WHEN I WOULD ENTER THE AMERICN LEGION ON FRIDAY FOR SEAFOOD LUNCH AND GET A BEAR HUG AND BIG SMILE FROM GENE. SO MANY PEOPLE LOVED GENE AND HE WILL BE MISSED BY MANY

Gene Bishop has been a best friend of the Harvey family for many, many years going back to the 1960´s. He was a generous man, a friend to anyone who wanted to be a friend, but a man who refused to be intimidated by anyone. Gene was a little rough around the edges, an unpolished gem, but was at home at any gathering. He loved his family dearly. Our children know him affectionately as Uncle Gene. He was an excellent pilot, a superior plumber, and he could operate most heavy equipment. We are going to miss him very much. Condolences to his survivors.

Gene was a good friend of my father, Bud Kelly, and of the Kelly family. When my father was alive and living in Hilton Head, Gene would come to our house during the Heritage Golf Classic and cook his famous frogmore stew. Gene was the kind of person who would be the first to help, when help was needed. My Condolences to the Bishop family. RIP my friend.

Uncle Gene with be missed by so many friends. We met Gene through his west coast family Mike & Cherie Owings and loved him instantly what a blast he was !! He bought a house close to our house in Chinook Wa at the Coast we were so happy he brought so much fun to our town everyone knew him and loved him ! He will never be forgotten RIP Uncle we love you, Mark & Carol Gronvold

Prayers of comfort to the family and friends of Gene Bishop. He was always wiling to help with major plumbing issues. His work was always a cut above. He inspired his team to work hard and smart. He is missed.
