Ethel Richardson Obituary

RICHARDSON, Ethel Florence Ethel Richardson, 86, wife of the late Louis L. Richardson, of Awendaw, SC passed away peacefully on Friday, April 27, 2007. The relatives and friends of Ethel Richardson are invited to attend her funeral service on Sunday, April 29, 2007 in Ocean Grove United Methodist Church of Awendaw at 2:00 o'clock. Burial will follow in Wilson Cemetery. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Friends may call at the Mount Pleasant Chapel on Saturday, April 28, 2007 from 6:00 until 8:00 o'clock. Mrs. Richardson was born September 18, 1920 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Walter Jackson and Estelle Lynes Jackson. She was a member of Ocean Grove United Methodist Church, an avid Gardner and a Seamstress. Ethel loved spending time with her family. She was a great inspiration to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son, Edward Eddie A. Richardson and his wife, Shanna, of Awendaw, SC, daughters, June Preast of Sumter, SC and Janet Santiago and her husband, Edwin, of Moncks Corner, SC, step-daughter, Margie Cory and her husband, Tom, of North Charleston, SC, sisters, Lillian Wilson and Julia Lyon, both of Awendaw, SC, Shirley Ackeman of Shulerville, SC and Margaret Inabinet of West Ashley, SC, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Florence Richardson and sons, Louis Richardson, Jr. and Johnny Richardson. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ocean Grove United Methodist Church Roof Fund, 6517 Hwy 17N, Awendaw, S.C. 29429.
