I can not express myself as well as my two sisters have previously, but I agree with everything they said. I remember visiting with your family when we came back from Puerto Rico. Aunt Ethel was the last of her generation of the Powell family, at least on the Bradshaw side. I will personally miss her very much even though I didn't see her that often. I am thinking about all of your families during the days ahead as you deal with your grief. I will be praying for all of you.

I will miss her voice, her smile, the touch of her soft hand and hearing the words "my lovely granddaughter"....and will always smile when I remember my moments with her, althought not enough.

I always think of Ethel as an example of the perfect Southern woman. The way she made everyone always feel welcomed and her yummy pound cake will never be forgotten!
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love,
Kristie

Aunt Ethel was a one of a kind person that will never be forgotten by anyone who ever knew her. Whenever I was in her presence, she had a way of making me feel that I was the most important person to her. I know that she has left a lot of friends and family that she made to feel the same way she made me feel. She always made the Powell reunion more special, not only because she was there, but also because she always made sure that she spent time with as many as she could. It would not surprise me if she managed to spend time with everyone who was there. Aunt Ethel, you will be sorely missed. Vernon, Barry, Shirley, and Patricia--you and all your families will be in my thoughts and prayers during the days ahead.

Aunt Ethel will always have a special place in my memories. The tribute written described her perfectly. Whenever I visited Charleston, I felt a tug in my heart to stop by her home because I knew I would always be welcomed there... not because I was so special but that was her gift. Visiting with her was always enjoyable, especially the family stories she shared. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
