Ethel Hilton Obituary

Ethel Hilton St. George, SC - Ethel Fralix Hilton, 96, widow of Richard Wesley Hilton, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at St. George Health Care Center. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Gene Lisenby officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Dorchester. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be an hour before the service. Ethel was born on March 9, 1920 in Bowman, SC a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Ann Kemmerlin Fralix. She was a retired seamstress with Carolina Girlswear and was of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by 4 sisters and 3 brothers; daughters, Elizabeth Wolfe and Betty Rhode and a grandson, Richard Noel Hilton, Jr., a son-in-law, Edward Rhode. Surviving is a son, Richard Noel "Dickie" (Marilyn) Hilton, of Dorchester; a daughter, Linda Hilton Heaton of Reevesville; grandchildren, Darlene (Michael) Haddle, Carol (Stephen) Jordan, Adam Wesley Hilton, Tracy (Jamie) Bailey, Heather (Anthony) Young, Robin (Richard) Stone, Paula (Rusty) Craven, Rhonda (Bobby) McGhie; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Matthew Bailey, Katelyn and Kevin Young, Macie and Ashton Stone, Brandon Craven, Lindsey (Robert) Canaday, Tyler (Brandy) McGhie and Ryan McGhie and Justin Carlisle Haddle; and a son-in-law, Carlisle Wolfe. She is also survived by two great-great-children, Paisley and Wells McGhie. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
