You have been gone from us, but I could only imagine you and your heavenly family. i miss your smiles and your conversations. I will always love you, my adopted mom.

To the family of My adopted play mother, I know that she is RIP. She was such a great my mentor for me. The most compassionate, humbled person I Knew. Loved her in so many ways and she will always be in my thoughts and memory.

I love this lady. She was like a second mother to me. Love you as you are resting in peace.

I worked with Mrs. Davis for many years as cashier and manager in a the cafeteria. She was a wonderful and fair boss. I will always remember her with fond memories. I know God with give you comfort and strength.

A really beautiful person who showed me love from day one.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Condolences to the family of Mrs. Ethel G. Davis. Mrs. Davis was a great leader, with a beautiful smile and caring spirit. It was a joy to have her at Macedonia Elementary School. She was loved and admired by many. She expected nothing but the best for her students.

My sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Davis. May God envelope you with His love during this difficult time. Mrs. Davis hired me as a school counselor upon my graduation from SCSU and I am forever grateful for her guidance and wisdom as I embarked on my journey in education. Though, my career took me far away from Bonner Elementary, I will always have fond memories of, Mrs, Davis School, and the leader that she was.

Condolences in the transition of a beautiful and graceful lady. Mrs. Davis was a dear friend of my parents and loved and admired by many. She impacted the lives of generations of students.

My memories of my third grade teacher is the best. She was an amazing teacher in grade school and friend to me later in life. I will truly miss her. Condolences and prayers for the family.

I am so sorry to learn about the passing of Mrs. Davis. She was a great principal who genuinely cared about her students. I will always remember how she ran a tight ship and how she disciplined us with dignity. She always wanted the best for her students. Thoughts and prayers to her family.

Janet joins me in expressing our condolence to the family of sister Ethel Gethers Davis. We have known Sister Davis for many years and we never met a kinder and loving person than Sister Ethel. She will be missed by so many of us who knew and loved her. We rejoice in believing that death is not a period; just a comma.

Mrs. Davis was my principal when I started kindergarten in the fall of 1976! Today, I'm 48 years old and I am honored to have had such a positive role model in my life as an educator. A person of color that has left a lasting positive impression on our community. We must pick up the torch and continue the the work that Mrs. Davis has started. Mrs. Davis, will be missed by her natural family as well as the family that she created through her love, support, and dedication as an educator!

Take heart. Time will soften the edges and ease your burden. It is hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of a well-lived life.
