I remember fellow Wilberforcean Essie Small our loves ones lives on in the memories and love we hold in our memories and the love we carry in our heart for our love ones.

To family of Essie my prayers are with you at this time to her daughter your mom spirit lives on through you and the love you have for each other. I am a member of the class of 74 and a member of the Atlanta chapter of Wilberforce University, I will miss seeing your mom at our conferences. Your mom was an awesome beautiful spirit, continue to let her awesome beautiful spirit shine through you God many blessing to you and your family

To the Smalls and Lemon family; We offer condolences in the death of our Cousin Renee. Cousin Renee was such a warm, loving, friendly and delightful person to be around. She kept all those attributes all through her illness and did not waiver. We will miss Renee especially at our Family Reunions and special family gatherings. Please know that we mourn with you and pray that our heavenly Father will continue to bless you and give you His peace.

I am so for loss of mother Ms. Smalls was a great teacher and friend. She taught both of my sons at Murray LeSaine Elementary School. She is an Angle looking down and keeping watch over you and your kids. Love,Estelle, C.J. and Ray,Jr.

Aunt Renee gave me my middle name (which was after her schoolgirl heartthrob and favorite singer at the time). She inspired me to attend college, acquire my Bachelor degree, she taught me how to appreciate education, that it was ok to speak correct English, the importance and significance of having a nice handwriting, to travel and experience new things, people, and foods.

There's so much I'm going to miss, but I'm really going to miss hearing your beautiful singing voice aka the songbird of Lemon Tree Lane. Auntie, go take your place in the soprano section in God's heavenly choir and say hello to our missed and loved family members for me.

THANK YOU so very much Auntie for all you've done for me. I'm comforted knowing that you knew you were LOVED while you were here with us. #SIPAUNTRENEE #SONGBIRD

Together we praised God and helped to build a church. We were foot soldiers in the army of the Lord. I will always cherish fond memories of our days together at Emmanuel Baptist. May the peace of God fill your hearts and mind during this time of grief. You are all in my prayers.
