Erma McMeekin Obituary
She grew up in Butte along with her sister, Lois McNulty, who preceded her in death.
Erma married William R. McMeekin on Aug. 9, 1942, in Spokane, Wash.
In 1979, Erma retired from her position as an executive secretary for Prudential Federal Savings & Loan in Butte. She moved to Whitehall, where she lived until the passing of her husband in 1984. She later moved to Bozeman and became an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she had many friends.
Erma is survived by her children, Richard McMeekin of Denver and Laura (Edward) Gonzalez of Butte. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Cena Phillips, Rona Sanchez, Daile MacLeod, Jana Miller, Rick Dalbec, Melanie McCurdy, Tara Buddington, Jory Gonzalez; and her niece, Pam McNulty and nephew, Pat McNulty. Surviving great-grandchildren include Ashleigh, Haileigh, Dever, Zoe, Spencer, Shea, Connor, Dylan, Kallie, Chloe, Corissa, Lynsey, Caleb; and her great-great grandson, Colt.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Bozeman Seventh-day Adventist Church, 15th Avenue and Main Street, across from McDonalds; burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Butte.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Ellis Academy, 3641 Bozeman Trail Road, Bozeman, MT 59715.

So sorry for your loss. I know Erma is happier now - no arthritis, no shoulder pain. Still it is difficult to let her go. My heart goes out to you. She was such a wonderful lady. I had adopted her as my grandma too! Love to all.

My Sweet, sweet Grandma.....I'm glad I was there to comfort you in your final hours. I will always cherish the lessons learned, the times we shared....the times I made you laugh and smile when everyone else seemed to infuriate you....I know we never spent as much time together as all the years you spent raising my sisters....but I never once felt any less loved. We had something special, and deep, and it was ours and ours alone, and I will always cherish each and every second I had. I love you grandma.
