Erin Updike Obituary

I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Erin personally, but have followed her and your battle at a distance for years, and admire your courage, especially Erin's. My sympathy to all her family and friends. (I know Holley from Lake Spring Garden Club.)

Smokey, Holley, Sundy and Lee, I know that Erin is resting in peace. My prayer is for the Updike family to be lifted up with God's strength and be comforted by knowing just how many lives Erin touched.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR LOSS. IN THE SHORT TIME THAT I GOT TO KNOW ERIN SHE TOUCHED MY HEART. I ALWAYS ENJOYED SEEING YOU AND HER ENTER OUR OFFICE. SHE WILL BE MISSED DEARLY. I WILL KEEP YOU IN MY PRAYERS.

We first met Erin and her parents when we began attending the Brain Tumor Support Group at MUSC about a year ago. Erin's smile and positive attitude lit up the room! I am so sorry and saddened to hear of the passing of Erin. I have many fond memories of Erin from West Club days and sleepovers from Elementary through High School. I will always remember her smile that never stopped and am sure she is smiling now. You all will be in my prayers.
