DAHL, Enid Enid Hunt Dahl of Toronto, Canada, and Delray Beach, Florida died Saturday, September 10, 2005, at the Franke Home in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina A graveside service will be held in Toronto, Canada at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery on Thursday, September 15, 2005 at 2:00 o'clock. There will be a memorial service at the Franke Home Chapel, Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 10:00 AM. ARRANGEMENTS BY J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Mrs. Dahl was the daughter of the late Irene Laidlaw Hunt and Harry William Hunt. She was the widow of Joseph George Dahl. Growing up in Toronto, Mrs. Dahl graduated from Havergal College. She was an excellent equestrian, riding with the Eglington Hunt, and competing in events both in Canada and abroad. She was also an avid golfer, playing at Baltusrol Golf Club in New Jersey, and the Country Club of Florida. She served in Gander, Newfoundland in the Royal Canadian Air Force during World War II. She was an active member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Delray Beach, Florida. She is survived by her daughter, Daphne Carruthers Howard, a son-in-law, William L. Howard, a granddaughter, Tiffany L. Howard, a grandson, William L. Howard, Jr., a granddaughter-in-law, Elizabeth Reeves Howard, and a great grandson Chase Adwell Howard.
