My family and I have been very saddened by Coe´s death, but it has led us to recall so so many memories of our time with her in Hawaii. We met Coe and her family in 1992 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Honolulu. Our sons played soccer together, our families went to many memorable Family Camps through the church, and she and I became fast friends (and fellow alto singers in the choir). We kept in touch through all of our consequential moves, taking time to travel to and from each others homes with other friends and creating a lifelong bond that continues even now - especially now. I will remember Coe as a fiercely faithful and loyal person and friend, putting family and good sense first and foremost and always up for a fun adventure. She had a joyous laugh and beautiful smile and wore a hat better than anyone I knew. She immersed herself in her surroundings and was thrilled to live close to her precious grandchildren. I will miss her forever.

So very, very sorry to hear about Coe's passing! Such a sweet person. I hadn't a lot of good memories from high school.. riding to all the basketball games with her and her parents and sisters. Prayers and love for all!!
