Emilie Davis WADMALAW ISLAND, SC - Mrs Emilie Ann Davis, 91 of Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023. Born on August 7, 1931, on Wadmalaw Island, SC, Emilie Ann was a Daughter of the late Emilie Butler and Ferdinand Towles. Emilie Ann enjoyed the beach, loved to bake, and was an avid gardener. Emilie Ann is preceded in death by her husband, James Miley Davis; her brother, James Butler Towles; and her grandson, Jim Green. Emilie Ann is survived by Linda Green (Daughter), Jimmie Davis (Son), John Davis (Son), Pattie Rutland (Daughter), Susan Davis (Daughter-in-law), Jimmy Green (Son-in-law), Gene Rutland (Son-in-law), Jennifer Davis (Granddaughter), Rebecca Warren (Granddaughter), Miley Davis (Grandson), Alexis Griffith (Great-granddaughter), Miley Green (Great-grandson), Chase Green (Great-grandson), Sinclaire Warren (Great-granddaughter) and numerous nieces and nephews. A grave side service will be held at 11:00 on Thursday, July 20th, at Johns Island Presbyterian Church, 2550 Bohicket Road, Johns Island, SC. A reception will be held immediately following, at the Fellowship Hall at the Rockville Presbyterian Church at 2479 Sea Island Yacht Club Road, Wadmalaw Island, SC 29487 Expressions of sympathy may be viewed or submitted online at https://www.palmettocs.com/obituaries/emilie-davis. To Emilie Ann's family: I'm so sorry I did not know of Emilie Ann's passing at the time. She was a very nice lady. I used to see her at the Davis Reunions. She was one of the last of her generation. The end of an era.

Jimmie, John, Linda, Pattie, and Family, I was so sorry to hear of your Mom´s passing. She was ready to go and kept telling me that when I went to see her.
