Ellsworth Weatherby Obituary

I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Weatherby at Doylestown MRI and through the years when he became one of my bosses at Parlee & Tatem (Doylestown Radiology). I will always remember his thoughtfulness, generosity, and kindness. He was definitely one of a kind and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched. Rest in peace Dr. W.

So sorry for your loss. Ted was a sweet and kind neighbor with a beautiful smile. We send our love and prayers to his family.

Missed greatly by me and many others veterans!

I worked with Dr Weatherby during his time at Doylestown Hospital. He was a fun-loving character who always had concern for others. He was generous in his gifts and advice.

So many memories of Ted since the days of NNMC Bethesda, 1987-1994. Teacher, colleague and friend. Harry and I have had so many laughs about Ted through the years. Great times on the BRR's.

Sympathies to the entire Weatherby family. Ted was a fountain of kindness and thoughtfulness. If I saw Ted at work, I knew I was going to have a great day. To quote from Washington Irving,
"A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into smiles." We always smiled and laughed together. Thanks and God bless you Ted.

Ted and I first met in 5th grade at the Flourtown school. As well as many other students who lived in the area. How many kids can say they basically went to school in a one room School house where every day we read the Bible and Rang the Bell to start the day. I remember Ted helping me find Bible verses to read because I was a little scared. Ted was a stand out because of his Silver/Blonde hair, We all basically went to all the same schools all the way to Springfield High, and through all the years Ted never stopped his big Smile, his Kindness, Friendship or his Silver / Blonde hair. Oh , Did he ever tell you at the Flourtown School we had recess behind the school in the Cow Pasteur But no worries Ted would warn everyone where they were. Lol. Roger and I send our heartfelt condolences. Roger was very fond of his cousin Teddy and truly enjoyed his sense of humor. Although Roger is a bit incapacitated now, he really has great memories of Teddy, especially when they were growing up. Our prayers to the entire family.

Dr. Weatherby was a kind man, with two terrible illnesses. I will miss him. It was an honor to try and help him.

Rest in Peace Ted! Can't say I ever remember you without a smile on your face, or was that a mischievous grin? My heart goes out to his family.

Teddy was a great guy so sorry to hear about his passing

Ted and I played alot of kickball together at Enfield Elementary, ultimately playing on the Springfield High School soccer team. I lived on Paper Mill Rd, Ted on Marks Rd about 2 minutes away. Fond memories of an old friend.

Pops I am going to miss you so much!! I am going to miss your laugh and your hilarious humor. Love you to the moon and back 10000x . Love your pup

I´m sorry for your loss. I too lost my father to Parkinson´s 31 years ago. Not a day goes by that I haven´t thought of him. The pain will pass and the joy of his love and caring will last and soon the memories will bring smiles instead of tears. Godspeed in your healing

Please keep and carry these precious people in their sadness and loss. Cover them with your great wings of love, give their weary hearts rest and their minds sound sleep. Lord, lift their eyes so that they may catch a glimpses of eternity, and be comforted by the promise of heaven. I hope this prayer helps you and your loved ones. Dr. Weatherby will be missed. I am glad I had the honor to have met such an amazing man.
