Elizabeth Wrachford Obituary

Elizabeth Cleona Ahern Wrachford GOOSE CREEK - Elizabeth Cleona Ahern Wrachford, 90, of Goose Creek, SC, formerly of Cumberland, MD, died Saturday, April 10, 2010, in a local hospital. Mrs. Wrachford was born February 28, 1920, in Cumberland, MD, the only child of James Edward and Ada Pearl Bernard Ahern. She was a former member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cumberland, MD and was presently a member of Goose Creek United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wrachford was a sales clerk in the hardware department of McCrory's 5 & 10 Cent Store. She is survived by three sons; James Hurley Wrachford and former wife, Mary Donaldson, of Cumberland, MD, Roy Branson Wrachford, Jr. and wife, Carol Joyce, of Goose Creek and David Charles Wrachford of Painesville, OH; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Roy B. Wrachford, Sr. and daughter-in-law, Linda Wrachford. The funeral service will be held in Goose Creek United Methodist Church Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, Monday, April 12, 2010, between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Services with burial in Greenmount Cemetery will be held in Cumberland, MD, later in the week. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Goose Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Red Bank Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
