Elizabeth A. Porter Houston COLUMBIA, SC - Memorial services for Mrs. Elizabeth A. Porter Houston will be held Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in the Mother Emmanuel A.M.E. Church, Charleston. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Peter Baptist Church, Irmo, SC with burial in the Emmanuel A.M.E. Church Cemetery, Charleston. Leevy's Funeral Home, Taylor Street Chapel is in charge. Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Mrs. Houston was a seamstress, one of the oldest living members of Mother Emmanuel A.M.E. Church and Senior Mother of St. Peters Baptist Church, Irmo.
