To all of the HOLLINGSWORTH family - I feel like I know each and everyone of you. Being a friend of Sophia's for almost 20 years I can remember when most of the nieces (and nephew Max!) were born and how proud Aunt Soph was to report details! I heard many a story of all the cousins and Liza's were always delightful - the Staples gift card, love of polka dots & jokes and hew drawings, etc. The sadness is unbearable. I send y'all huge hugs to enfold and to surround the whole family in at this sad sad time. Once back in Charlotte, Soph's friends will continue to hold her up while Liza looks down and smiles, giggles and sends her presence into special moments and memories.

My deepest sympathy to the family of Larry Jefferson. He was always so friendly and helpful at the VA. He will be missed.

Julie, I cannot imagine your pain and am at a great loss for words. I am praying for God to hold you and your family in the palm of His Hands and heal your hearts.

Julie and Dunn, I am Margaret Jordan's sister, Mary D. You may remember me from years ago as I remember you. There are no words to express the sorrow I feel over the ending of Liza's life here on earth, and I cannot imagine the depth of your pain. As a Christian all I can do is stand on the promises of God in Christ Jesus, believing that Liza is forever safe in God's heavenly house in the room Jesus had prepared for her the day she was conceived. When our daughter, Hope, as a little girl was trying to understand death and heaven and heard the words of Jesus where he said "Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told. I am going there to preapare a place for you" she looked up at me and said, "I hope my room's next to yours, Mom." And so may it be for you as you grieve, knowing you will one day be together again for all eternity. As I have prayed for you and Jordan and your extended families so I will continue to do so. I am so saddened to learn of your loss. You know my history so, unlike most other people, you know I know all too well a lot about what and how you're feeling right now. One thing I wanted and needed after my loss was to talk with someone or anyone who had been through this before. Everyone handles greif differently so I don't really know for sure if you have that need but, if you do, I'm more than willing to talk so please give me a call if you need to. Otherwise, I will be in touch with in the near future. I hope understand that I can't be there for the visitation or the funeral. I just can't do that any more. I'd be more hindrance than help.
