Known as "Sport," "Grandmama", and "GG," Dianne loved spending time with her family, playing games with her grandchildren, gardening, and her weekly trips to Costco with Jack. She was also a member of the former Clearview Baptist Church on James Island. In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her brothers Tommy and Larry Thornton. Dianne is survived by her husband, Jack, and their daughters, Kathy Zobel (Larry), Jackie Mays (Charlie) and Janice Bass (Bobby); her grandchildren Sandi Wells (Chris), Lawren Zobel Carter (Corey), Lyndsey Catlett, Andrew Griffin Agius, Katy Quirk (Michael), Elizabeth Bass, and Adam Bass; and her great-grandchildren Jack, Hampton, Samuel, and Olivia.
