Elizabeth Goodell Obituary

GOODELL, Elizabeth Elizabeth Frances Goodell, 93, widow of Maurice L. Goodell of Mount Pleasant, SC died Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Sandpiper Retirement Center. Mrs. Goodell was born February 3, 1915 in Cheshire, MA, the daughter of the late Walter and Goldie Marie Utter. Mrs. Goodell loved her life as a homemaker and mother of six children. Mrs. Goodell will be deeply missed by her children, Joan Whitcomb and husband Ernest of Mt. Pleasant, SC; Malcom Goodell and wife Martha of Lodi, CA; Maura Williams and husband Rex of Stockton, MO; Boyd Goodell and wife Pamela of Richmond, NH; Daniel Goodell and wife Nancy of Rutledge, TN; and Peter Goodell of Miami, FL. Mrs. Goodell was a loving grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Goodell was predeceased by her husband, Maurice of 35 years, her four brothers, six sisters, and one grandchild. Memorial services for Mrs. Goodell will be at a later date.
