Elizabeth "Bette" Faust Crowell JOHNS ISLAND - Elizabeth "Bette" Faust Crowell, 77, of Johns Island, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Harvest Health & Rehab on Johns Island. A memorial service will be held on February 21, 2014 at 2 o'clock PM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 316 West Carolina Avenue, Summerville. Burial will follow in church cemetery. Bette was born on October 27, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana, daughter of the late Roy Faust and Thelma (Bradshaw) Faust. She was a realtor for many years with Prudential Carolina in Summerville and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Surviving are: three sons: Gary Crowell (Cindy) of Austin, TX, Neal Crowell (Kara) of Charleston and Brad Crowell of Austin, TX; three grandchildren: Zachary Crowell of Austin, TX, Katherine Crowell and Christina Crowell both of Charleston; two brothers: Donald Crowell (Margaret) of Dallas, TX and Bill Crowell (Donna) of Austin, TX.
