Lyn, Your Mother and Dad were our parents' dearest friends.[Cava and Ed Saunders] When my dad died I was only 30 and my mom asked me to go to Parkers and make all the funeral arrangements. Your mother was the wonderfully kind friend who offered to go with me and help me through all the hard choices! I will never forget her for that! When Michael and I were married, 49 years ago next week, She and Your dad had the most beautiful party for us. "Miss" Elise and Mr. Bogie will always be a beloved part of my growing up in Walterboro. I remember their great joy and pride in you. Please know I am thinking of you. My sister, Catherine, asked me to let you know she is as well. Cava Saunders Riley

Sending my condolences to the family. Comforting thoughts from God's word can help you endure difficult times. John 17:3 tells us, "This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ."
