Eleanor Wong Obituary

Eleanor B. Wong CHARLESTON - Eleanor B. Wong, 91, widow of the late Det. Joseph Wong, entered rest on January 7, 2017. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday evening, January 13, from 7-8pm and funeral services will be Saturday, January 14th at 11am, both held at Centenary United Methodist Church, 60 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. She will be more than greatly missed and cherished. Mrs. Wong is preceded in death by daughter, Jane L. Sheppard and son, Joseph R. Wong. She is survived by four sons: Daryl L. Wong of Charleston, Delano W. (Wanda) Wong of Virginia Beach, VA, Dwayne L. Wong of Washington, DC, Juan A. Wong of Los Angeles, CA; six daughters: Juanita W. (Philip) LaRoche, Yolanda D. Wong, Wanda E. Wong and Tanya W. Smith all of Charleston, Mary W. Small of Washington, DC and Donna W.
