Eleanor Gatch Padgett CHARLESTON - Eleanor Gatch Padgett, 71, died July 22, 2011. She was the widow of Charles E. Padgett. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Johannes Lutheran Church. Interment, Live Oak Memorials Gardens. She was born November 15, 1939 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Eric L. Gatch and Erma Heinsohn Gatch. Eleanor graduated from Rivers High School and was employed mostly in medical offices. She lived in Baltimore, Maryland for twenty years. Eleanor was a member of St. Johannes Lutheran Church and sang in the choir. She loved making pretty hats and wearing them. She also loved square dancing and all types of music. She is survived by one son: Robert J. Moore, III (Shelly) of California; two daughters: Donna Moore Holland of Nevada, and Eleanor Christine Porto (Phillip) of Buffalo, NY; one sister: Betty G. Budds of Charleston, SC; one grandson and three granddaughters. She was predeceased by her son Eric Stephen Moore.
