Eleanor Fisk Obituary

Eleanor Fisk Dorchester, SC - Eleanor S. Fisk, 94, widow of James F. Fisk, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 16, 2018, at her residence. Her celebration of life will be held at St. George Church of Christ, 767 Hwy 15 N, St. George, SC, at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 23, 2018, with Evangelist Roy Knight and Harold Peacock (Nephew) officiating. Online condolences may be made at www.tricountycremationcenter.com. Eleanor was born on January 8, 1924, in Barnwell, SC, a daughter of the late Homer B. and Carrie Hutto Sanders. She was a graduate of Barnwell High School and taught direct dialing for BellSouth. She was a member of the St. George Church of Christ and was a lifelong Sunday School Teacher. She was predeceased by a grandson, Jason Lynch; siblings, Inez Gunnells (Erwin), Ernell Wysocki (Bob), Talton Sanders (Inez); and a brother-in-law, Leonard Fisk. Surviving are her daughters, Cathy Carroll (Rusty), Sharon Thornall (Michael), both of Dorchester; son, Tommy Fisk (Gina), of Norfolk, VA; granddaughter, Crystal Varn; and great-grandson, Liam Thompson, both of Summerville; sister-in-law, Mary Fisk, of Dorchester; and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. George Church of Christ, any non-kill animal shelter or the Keeper of the Wild, 1606 Coolers Dairy Rd., Walterboro, SC 29488.
