My thoughts and prayers go out to your family. Mrs. Effie had such a beautiful and kind spirit. She just lit up the room with her smile and charisma! It was such an honor to work with her at IOP for all of those years. I will definitely miss her coming on the unit to check on everyone and telling us about her grandkids!

I was blessed by working with Effie while on 3N MUSC-she always provided support and Guidance for the staff and patients. She shared laughter about her grandchildren, family and pets-"Mi Mama" drove a sporty black Mustang that exemplified her go-go== work hard and help others nature.Such a good person .

Oh my!!!! My sweet, stylish, beautiful wonderful Ms. Effie!!!!! I just can't believe it!!!! It was an honor and pleasure to have known you and worked under your guidance at MUSC . What a joy of conversations we would share as you conducted rounds within the hospital. When my mother transitioned, Ms. Effie provided kind words, and went on to make me laugh! Your professionalism, your kind words, your red fingernails and the beautiful white hair will NEVER be forgotten! To her family.....a precious, precious jewel! Ms. Effie has a new address and new robe! A new automobile she has as the Heavenly Master called her home! Rest Ms. Effie.....rest!
